The Special Response Team (SRT) is the Department's Tactical and Rescue Unit specializing in performing high risk arrest and search warrants, hostage negotiations, dealing with barricaded suspects, vehicle interdictions, specialist surveillance operations, urban and wilderness rescue and other tactical operations. They often incorporate the Department's K-9 Section into their operations.
